Why can an inductive sensor detect only metal?

      Time:2019-05-08 15:09:44 Click:

In fact, it is determined by the structure and working principle of the inductive sensor itself. In other words, only when the metal object enters into the inductive field will there be the output state in the inductive output terminal.

BTW, the inductive sensor consists of coil, oscillator, trigger circuit and output terminal.
